TroPEG
Tropical
Plant Exploration Group (TroPEG), was created in 2010 as a research
group based in Cameroon, Central Africa. TroPEG is operating under
Authorization/Registration No. 03/G40/606/AR/BASC/SP It an initiative of
exstudent from the Department Botany and Plant Physiology, University
of Buea.
Mission
- To document all plant species (threatened and not threatened) in priority areas including their IUCN conservation status.
- Support and promote researchers and institutions with a common research goal.
- Train young scientists in the domain of plant sciences.
- Serve as a platform for exchange of information with external researchers. Participate in programs development in plant Sciences
.

- High Conservation Value (HCV) Assessment
Data Analysis
- All forms of Data can be arranged and analysed using specialised software such as SPSS, MINITAB, PAST and Microsoft Excel
- Biodiversity informatics in Data cleaning and data publishing
